Could you be a little more precise ?
1st: KingPin is not officially supported by TurboGL
2nd: it runs cool on my system (both TGL and ICD)
3rd: youhave to copy the proper OpenGL32.dll into the main folder of KingPin manually

maybe kingpin wasn´t tested with turbogl 1.0,
it doesn´t work on all system.
One thing i do know, kingpin doesn´t like just a single bit of an aperture size < 256
this may be the case as many bios don´t have aperture sizes options greater than 128.
Anyway try to copy the opengl32.dll from any supported game directory to kingpin´s or extrat this file from the turbogl installation directory with expand.exe
