Can a game detect and refuse an overclocked graphcard

That seems to be the case with X- beyond the frontier has it absolutely always hangs when my g400 is overclocked even to just 1 or 2 mhz!?????????????????????

Yep, it runs fine! it runs absolutely flawless even with a very overclocked cpu
but the problem i mentioned persists without a cpu overclock. My previous post on this matter was based on an non-overclocked cpu

try to force AGP1x via the reg patches, could be related

or increase your cooling and airflow in your tower.

extra cooling?
it runs on a 100mhz agp port, why should it need extracooling on the same agp port@66mhz
with a 1mhz overclock on everyclock.
This happens on every overclock utility or even with just the reg setting to override the factory clocks.
As to agp transfers, they´re already@1x
