EMBM and BZ2
Anyone know how to enable bumpmapping in Battlezone2??? Or is it turned on by default??

Thanks guys.....i knew it was something like that, but a little more complicated....
I had tried doing that before but when i went to save it would save it as a .txt file....but hey i learned something today....just overwrite the .cfg file with the changes!! thanks for the help!:PComment

I think its crazy that we have to hack things to get them to work!
Correct me if i am wrong as i dont play BZ2 but if the game comes implemeted with EMBM shouldnt it come activated by default?
This is bewildering me!

there is actual only one series of gfx cards available that support EMBM ...
I'd agree with you if it were a special G400 release and I would love to see an auto detect routine, but obviously there is none.

------------------Getting Battlezone 2 Bumps
If you are running Battlezone 2 and seem to be a little bereft of bump mapping here's a little tip sent in by Chris.
Just wanted to drop you a note to let others know how to enable EMBM for G400 for Battlezone 2. You will need to look for RENDER.CFG file in the installed game directory and edit it. Look for line with: ;Bumps = 1 , then remove the semicolon and save the file. You will then have bump mapping in the game. BTW, the graphics are gorgeous in this game.

Hi Maggie,
I was just commenting that the game that came manufactured with EMBM should have it enabled by default or an easy application, and i also feel that this may have been easier if Matrox would have said something to them too!
Although i am sure this can be fixed in a future update and corrected.
