DualHead-Zoom and games

Hullo,

Excuse my ignorance, but why isn't it possible to play a game on the primary display and have a zoomed-in portion of it on the secondary display, using the Dualhead's Zoom mode? This would be ideal for RTS games, such as Starcraft, where you could zoom in on the mini-map on the other monitor.
Whenever I have tried this, with the seconday display initially showing a zoomed portion of the desktop, the seconday display immediately jumps to clone mode when the game starts.

Shame it doesn't work, as that sounds like a great idea. Maybe if there is a Starcraft 2, it will support 2 monitors

try civ II test of time since that runs windowed.

if nobody else does i'll dig arround and look for my copy of it and post the results of tryign that.

i was right. i dug out my copy of civ call to arms and played it for a while with the zooooom.

I'd really love to use that feature as a permanent 'sniper' ...

Would make us DH users somehow superior with such a feature.

Don't know if it's possible though.
