I have never overclocked a single part in my system, and I tried playing with the case off. And what's odd is that it always crashes at the exact same time for every game: right after the second level loads. Matrox tech support doesn't seem to have any idea of what's going on.

Aj, tried to exchange your card? It could be defect.
Maybe it's overheating? (second level, played a while, heat building up) Is it overclocked? If so, tune it down. Add additional fans.In case it's a harware problem:
