FF8 Slow downs
Anyone ecountering problems with FF8 and G400 32MB singlehead card. Game seems to be very slow and graphics are choppy during battles. Config setup says 8 bit palletized texture failed. Please help!

hi, i gotta G400 MAX and i havent seemed to notice any slowdowns during the game...i do however get the 8-bit palletized texture failed thing in the setup screen, but i imagine thats because the G400 doesnt actually support it anyways. I could be wrong on that last point, so if anyone has different information...feel free to post it

Hey if you use that tweak addon from G400 Tweak V.006 these are the settings to have to run the game but you will need to turn a lot of crap off then menus still look a little funny.
