Halflife + g400 max in direct 3d

when I use direct 3d wid halflife i get those wierd texture interpolations. i'm using a:
p3 500
be6 II mobo
g400 max dh 32 mb
64 mb ram
agp aperture = 256
and i believe that's all...
oh... and i'm using powerdesk 5.30.
turbogl doesn't seem to work with halflife or quake 3 arena for me, either...
but otherwise, i love my g400

First of all you are in the wrong forum(try the Matrox Gaming forum).

And secondly you sould download the latest powerdesk (try the 5.41 because the 5.50 is a beta one) and also i sould advise you to flash you matrox card Bios to the latest one.

Halflife is an OpenGL game by design.
The solution is going to be to figure out why TurboGL isn't working for you...

And what about the default ICD?
The game should run well without TurboGL.
What happens when you try TurboGL?
