Help with w2k and refreshrates

No matter what i do with the most current w2k drivers, i can't get it to get the refresh in games (opengl and d3d) above 60.
This _really_ hurts my eyes and i get really bad headaches in a matter of minutes.
I can change it easily in the desktop to 75, but in games, i cannot.
Any help would be appreciated.
I am running w2k final, bp6, 2x celeron 400 @ 530, 2/3 divider, 3com 10base t net card, g400 max, creative 32X, Compaq 171 FS Monitor (its detected) and acpi enabled in BIOS.

Thanks man, does this work for ogl too or just d3d?

Run dxdiag.exe and enter a forced refresh rate at the 'More Help' tab page. Or use PowerStrip to manage your monitor settings.
