  • Game Driver: Movies

The movies are not playing (at least I think so, there should be one when you start the game, right?). I copied the folder FMVDATA to my harddisk, and I got the G400-specific Driver patch from Matrox.

There is no error message, they simply won't play. What goes wrong here?

    Win98, Matrox G400, newest drivers, DX 7.1

I can play these mpeg movies with media player 6.4. So the appopriate codec seems to be installed?

Same deal here, no go on the movies. Even with the patch installed.

How do you check if the game is UK or US though?

      regards Kristian

Codec issues. Anyone know which codec "Driver" uses?

          Hi

It worked for me after installing the new patch. Make sure you use the new patch (2.1)
And believe me! This bug drove me crazy until
          the 2.1 patch were released.

I don't think its codec related as I'm running 6.4 as well.

Do you have the original CD or a copied version? Did you have to copy the movies to the harddisk or do they play from the CD?

                Pat

It's actually (for once) an original CD (UK Version) and the movies' playing from it.

Did you do a thorough uninstall/reinstall of the game before installing the 2.1 patch?
