  • UT and new drivers...

    Howdie.

Got some weird colours in UT when using UT with the new drivers and the opengl.
OK, performance is acceptable by now, but it looks f***ing weird... changing textures and such stuff.
When using the "standard" OpenGL the game is really s l o w ... at least for me.
    Some hints ?
    -my specs:

    160 MB ram
Aperture Size (correct spelling ?) 128
    G400 32 DH

Uh...Have you tried using D3D? If I'm not mistaken, I belive many here have stated more than once NOT to run up UT with TurboGL driver/in openGL. Try using D3D...(also since you've got the ram, try bumping up your Aperture size to 256 if you can). Hope it helps...

      Yup.
      Forget OpenGL with that game.
Epic even calls their OGL support in the Unreal engine "experimental".
      D3D it!

Well, but D3D has one little problem with the z-buffer... and that´s the reason why I´d prefer OpenGL...
...no z-buffer problems, _just_ freakin´ textures...

        *sniff*
Maybe one day I´ll be able to play UT with no z-buffer errors on my G400...
