I'm torn between loving and hating MS. I love their developer tools, they are so far ahead of any other OS. But I work mainly in C++ and COM / DCOM and often hit some terribly frustrating bugs / limitations and lots of grey areas that are not documented. I don't mind a closed OS, but I hate how they killed CORBA and all other attempts at a cross platform object model.
Anybody even remember what the subject of this thread was?

I have a Linux/Windows 2000 dual boot setup and love both. I don't hate MS but I think they were getting kinda complacent after all their succeses (reference fall of Rome). I'm glad Linux has finally caught on big enough to give them a scare and get their butt in gear. Now I just can't wait for 2000 drivers and XFree 4. It's shaping up to be an interesting year...
