I find out that both beta driver 5.50.05 and 5.50.10 when u use 32 bit Z-buffer with PIII-500E CPU ..OpenGL game will ****ed( I try all my D3D game work fine with 32 bit Z-buffer on)..display incorrect and hang the PC, however if I turn off the 32 Bit Z-buffer every game I try work perfect. (UT, Quake 3..etc) This happen after I upgrade my Celeron 266@ 488 to 500E @750..I try run the CPU at normal 500E still have the same problem and can fix it with 32 bit z-buffer off, so whoever using P-III coppermine CPU may have the same problem I got and can fix it with 32 bit Z-buffer off.
I hope Matrox can fix this driver problem ASAP.
PS: anyone want to share his exp. about using coppermine CPU and turn on 32 bit with OpenGL game work fine??
