It works, but there's some issue with the sticky mouse buttons...I have yet to find a cure for it...

Westwood has stated that sticky keys has to do with W2K direct X and they have informed MS and MS will issue a fix soon, check windows updates or direct x page regularly for details

That's the story that I've heard as well...when will that be? i don't know ....but if they fix that, I'm all good with win2k...it's rock solid, and everything seems to work on it quite nicely! I do appreciate the fact that you don't have to reboot when you change network settings, as well as numerous other things.

Check Windows Update, there are two Win2k patches there that fixed the "sticky button" issue for me.

Unfortunately all the D3D games still hard-lock randomly. Probably a MPS issue.

Damn you, Matrox, I want proper SMP support in the G400 drivers! U hear?!

I've tried the patches, and the sticky button still remains an issue...I'm not sure why that is...it seems to happen to my 2nd and 3rd button when I use them simultaniously.

                  Larry,

Join a multi game (Rogue Spear) last nite, host was using W2K, server was rock solid for 3 hours continous play with 8 or more players. Only thing upset the host is the sticky key, he always get killed because of it. I am looking forward to the fix too, so I can install Rogue spear back to W2K. After you use W2k for a while, you begin to dislike W98 and discover how unstable 98 actually was.

                    APV,

Agreed. I host using Win2k often, when I'm not planning on totally getting into the game. It's MUCH more stable in Win2k. I seemed to be able to get more people connected without lag using win2k. Anyway, my point is that I totally agree with you. Once everyone sees how much better Win98 COULD be, they'll use it less and less
