  • G400 Max.....Doubts creeping in........

Yes, it looks better than any other card out there, yes it runs at decent speed, but I'm sick of the impenetrable tight-lipped support base at Matrox, and the way Powerdesk has started interrupting Disk defrag until I close it, the way benchmarks in Q3A start off good and slow down over the weeks needing a fresh driver install, the way the drivers need to be reinstalled or updated with all this regedit and Safe mode bullshit, the fact that I can't play my fave game (a D3D game)Aliens v Predator online with my card, the fact that Quake 1 runs with rainbow flecks in wall textures and crashes alot....

Christ, my Guillemot Maxi Gamer Xentor 16mb TNT2 may have been a tad slower, but it was a solid as a rock. No problems in ANY game...EVER!!

How long have Matrox been doing this now....you'd think they'd have sorted themselves out by now, and designed easy to install, easy to update cards, with superb compatability....especially when you've payed £208 for the damn product :0(
