  • Odd event in Q3A - Problem Faced, Resolution Found - Read here.

Was getting ready to play a game of Q3A last night, I usually keep Q3A in the HPCDRW, and UT in the Kenwood TrueX CDR, but I had forgotten that I had taken it out to write a cd the previous day.

Anyway, I started Q3A, and it requested the CD, so I insterted it, and of course AutoRun kicked off, and when I tried to alt-tab back to Q3A I got the infamous blank white screen.

Not to be deterred, and not wanting to restart the machine completely, I tried various methods of switching applications, resolutions, etc... Nothing seemed to work.

Then in a pique of frustration, I hit the suspend button on my MS Natural Keyboard Pro, and put the system to sleep. When I re-awakened the system, Q3A came back normal full screen and visible details. I proceded to play on normally...

Don't know if this helps anyone, but I thought it interesting...
