Errr... system specs (motherboard/CPU, other cards in the system, Windows version)?

    IRQ list?

Which "latest drivers" are you using (the latest beta drivers, the latest released drivers, or the latest Microsoft certified drivers)?? And are you using T(urbo)GL?

More information, please....Or would you rather that we just guess wildly why you might be having such a problem ?

Let's see....UT should be run only in D3D, if you ask me....OGL SUCKS on UT.

If you run any OGL app, make sure that you have your dual head turned off, desktop color depth set to either 16 or 32 bit.

i run it in 32 bit, so how come it doesn't work on any games?
is it the games or my computer/video card?

We're still waiting for a complete IRQ listing. It really helps us track down the problem more times than not...

The games should work fine. I have played all of those myself, except WOT, and they all run fine.

WOT is built on the Unreal engine, so add that one to the list of games that should be run in D3D mode...

None of you will be shocked by this, but let me be the first to say it out loud :

The obvoius potential problems I see thus far are:

Texas P3B??? Who the heck is Texas??? Or do you mean Asus, which is problems of its own?
SBLive! ...What LiveWare version are you using?
Network card
Pioneer DVD... DMA issues? I also have heard some (unrelated) things about Pioneer DVD-ROMS; I wonder if they have problems in other ways as well.
We definitely need your IRQ listing.. If you don't know how to find it, ask us, or someone else may post instructions in any case.

I like the idea of a Texas P2B. I have a couple of Texas P2B-F's and a Texas P2B-D. Today I went looking for a Texas P3V4X board, but I couldn't find one.

Is that a 3Comm NIC? It's important that we know.

Like everyone has been saying, show us your IRQ's.

What version of Liveware are you using?

I guess that's why my P2B was so expensive up here in Canada...it had to come all the way from Texas!

I guess we should be nice, maybe je55e doesn't speak english to well, or has a computer with a funny keyboard layout or his lights are real dim. But it is funny tho...

                        While we're waiting...

                        Hi, paulcs! Hi, [paradox]!

                        ...and Wow, Bohrn... 3 cats!!!

Any cat-hair-proofing tips you'd like to share I'd gladly take....!!! 2 cats in the house, and though only one looks to me, she is kinda extra-furry...

And after I found the CPU fan simply filled with cat hair some 3 upgrade cycles ago (how appalled was I?), you won't hear me pooh-pooh the issue....

AH HA! Your G400 absolutely hates being on IRQ 5. (No joke!) It much prefers IRQ's 9, 10, or 11, as they have a higher priority. It also doesn't like to share with other devices.

Again, it should be on IRQ 9, 10 or 11, and it shouldn't be sharing with anything but "IRQ Holder for PCI Steering."
