Combat Flight Sim won't run

I've abslolutely no problems with any other game but CFS just won't run. When I get to the bit where I have to click "fly now" I get thrown back to the desk top. The screen flashes black twice before this happens. I'd be really grateful if someone could give me a clue how to solve it.

My card is G400MAX

It would be helpful if you posted system specs, driver and bios revs. I just ran CFS w/ my G400 and no probs.

The 25/02/00 upgrade of matrox drivers install, but despite following uninstall routine of previous, and successful install of new, when I check the driver version in control panel it says 4.12.01.1520.

Graphics Bios is 1.5-22
