  • Unreal T Hanging + Driver problem ( bios needed)

    I had a pII 400 mhz with a g400 , worked fine

Now i got an asus p3c2000 mainboard with 4 x agp 133 mhz frontside bus 533b intel processor I820 chipset and it hangs on different times ....why tried all new drivers , running bios 1.04.
    Help !!!
What also is weird is that when i install my drivers he want to install g400 drivers and when i says no , install the g400 max drivers it says that those will prob.not work good for that hardware.....
Is the 1.04 bios not good for the max ?
Why does it says g400 ???
Anyone have an orgin g400 max bios for me ?

The drivers are the same. It's not uncommon for the card to be detected as a regular G400 when installing the drivers. It does not matter. They use the exact same files (they are the same card with only a few minor differences). Once the drivers are installed (which you should do with the included setup program...don't just point to the files when the card is found) you can go to the display properties>advanced>info tab and see that it is showing as a Max.

Your problem is elsewhere, not with the way the card is detected on your new mobo.

If your proceesot is 500+mhz try going into the bios and turning off super bypass or turning off bus mastering under display properties.
