System Shock 2 and Win98 Drivers 5.50.005 same problem as with 5.41 why?

I installed Windows 98 driver 5.50.005 for my G400 32 meg and then installed system shock 2 to play a little. I went to start a new game and it started the loading progress bar, flashed to the desktop then to a blank screen with the sound playing in the background. I thought this problem was only with the 5.41 drivers and was fixed in the 5.50.005 release. Any ideas?

K6-2 450, 128 megs sdram, G400 32 meg SH (latest bios)

Try getting the 5.52 drivers they work perfectly with System Shock 2. Plus they are the full directx 7 compliant drivers.

WOW I installed the 5.52 drivers and now System shock 2 flys, I have never seen it run this fast and smooth. Thx alot Matrox I appreciate it
