Janes USAF Demo

I know I'm a little late with this demo, but I've just recently gotten in to flight sims. My problem is with the USAF demo. Everything goes fine with the install, but when I try to run the game I just get a black screen with my mouse cursor in the middle. I can move the mouse for about 5 seconds then my hard drive light just stays lit and my pc is frozen. The only way to get out of it is to reset it. I am using driver version 5.52 and BIOS 1.5-22. I have searched on the forum and found a lot of different things to try. I have disabled anything running in the background (except explorer, systray, and pdesk). I have ran the USAFconfig.exe file in the install folder, let it detect my vid card, and test it. The test comes back to say that my system is configured to run the game, but no matter what, it locks up hard. I have even re-downloaded the file twice thinking it was bad. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
