Will G400 use S3TC?

Since Nvidia just released the drivers which includes the S3TC, I was just wondering if we can use S3TC too...will new drivers support S3TC? so we can take advantage of the second CD of Unreal Tournament and the S3TC enabled levels for Quake3:Arena...

Nvidia and S3 recently signed some sort of partnership/technology sharing agreement, so that's why you see S3TC in Nvidia drivers. I don't think we'll be quite so fortunate.

With S3's reputation for quality and Nvidia's overblown marketing department, they could be the next 3dfx.

I see he recently updated the first three levels of the pack with the fixed shaders. I'm downloading these as we speak. Cool!
