G200 and Ascension:problems.
Hi!
I'm sorry if this has asked before.
I would like to know if there are setting that can makes Ascension going better.
I have latest drivers for G200,latest patch for Ascension.
Defragged system..and so on.
Using all the tricks to speed up the game(killing U9 task,same video res on desktop,etc...).
I only want to know if I can improve frame rate...ie...are there some special G200 settings(even in the video properties...ie..is z-buffering better enabled or disabled)?
The only one I found is that is you set in the Ascension option.ini the chromakey to 1(and not 2) I get some FPS more(not much).
Anything else?
BTW..I am FORCED to play with game rasterizer set to 4(DX 6) and NOT to 2,becouse after 5 minutes it crashes :-(
Any help?
I get a lot of visual problems too:like 'acquatic' textures,lot of sags on textures borders,lines between textures...and so on...
You know...a nightmare....
