I first installed the new drivers and latest PowerDesk (v 5.52.015).
This worked fine enough with Tribes. I can select "Matrox OpenGL @ 16bits). Lots of artifacts and other visual errors but very playable with 27-47 FPS.
Next, I installed TurboGL. It detected Tribes just fine and installed the turbo. Tribes video setting now lists Matrox TurboGL instead of the old OpenGL.
Now here's the problem. All I see are the green grid lines from the tables and HUDs! No picture whatsoever. Just green lines on black background.
Anyone else have this problem? I don't understand why the regular OGL works but not the Turbo. I've changed my AGP aperture to 256 and there is no difference. 64 aperture had the problem too.
