AGP 2x activation

Anyone knows how to enable AGP 2x?
PCILIST and Powerstrip say both the mainboard and the card support AGP 2x but only AGP 1x is enabled.
My system is PCpartner ZX mainboard, Celeron clocked at 400, Millenium G400, 96 MB,

Start regedit and search for 'agpfallback'. Then change it to agpfallback 1 and restart. This did it for me. Not that there is any visible difference (except losing about 5 fps in every game, but i'm still investigating this). But Sandra now states for me AGP speed 2x (166MHz).
