Diablo II beta signup on Sun/Mon

Diablo II beta signup starts sunday night, 18 MAR MM, and ends monday night 19 MAR MM. One thousand lucky dogs will be selected based on their hardware & OS configuration. Read more about it at www.blizzard.com

A few years ago one of my buddies was a lucky dog that got selected for the StarCraft beta test. He always kicked my butt in StarCraft, but he had a couple of months of extra practice.

i dont mean to ruin your post, but they updated it and its now march 19th at 12:01am (Monday) to 12:01am march 20th (Tuesday)and at their local time. whatever that is for wherever you are, i dunno

Hmm, looking at a calendar, 3/19 is a Sunday while 3/20 is a Monday...

You're both right and you're both wrong.

I'm guessing it's 12:01am Monday 3/20 until 12:01am Tuesday 3/21. In otherwords, all day Monday, March 20.

Sorry for any confusion...I never was good at dates. It also depends which timezone you are in. This beta is a north american only beta, so that does put some limit on it.

Start time: 12:01am PST (GMT - 8:00) on Monday, 20 MAR MM
Stop time: 11:59pm PST (GMT - 8:00) on Monday, 20 MAR MM

As Blizzard has said, it is not the first 1000 who register, but they hand select the 1000 most interesting configurations of systems to get a good beta test over a broad range of hardware and OS configurations.

Reminder that this is going on right now. Blizzard's site is a bit of a mess with the self invited DDoS attack, very similar to how it was during the Starcraft beta test signup.

The web site says 1000 randomly selected configurations...

I'm guessing they will take x number of config 1 (randomly selected), x number of config 2, etc.
