FREESPACE 2 Win2K HELP!

Freespace 2 keeps on locking up after 2 seconds into a mission!. It boots me back to the desktop right after I put in my callsign if I turn on sound.

And it only let's me run at 640x480!

Im no expert, but it sounds to me as though your problem is related to your soundcard...i dont know what them specific problem is, then again it could be the combination of your video card and the sound card, like i said im no expert

and the reason that you can only run the game in 640x480 is because you didnt install the 1024x768 stuff that is required to play in that resolution
(of this i am sure, unlike the first problem)
