Crashing to the desktop from quake3.
I've checked on quake3world.com and found topics about this. I am curious how many people out there with g400/g400max cards crash out to the desktop using windows2000.
Or maybe it happens with windows98 as well. I'm 50/50 as to wether it's an OGL issue or a bug in quake3.
The problem with this bug is it's very hard to produce even on my machine it can take one minute to 20min to make it happen. And i've crashed on different maps not special ones like I thought earlier. I know OGL is still buggy since q3 has artifacts but it's playable that's why I suspect it may be the drivers. But if only a few people have this problem then maybe it's the game.
Windows 2000 build 2195
256 megs
P3-700E
Matrox Milleniun G400
Aopen AXBC PRO GOLD
SBlive using orig win2K drivers
Think that should be enough info.
