  • THANKS to Haig and the UT players!!!

After last night bouncing around with you, air hammers in hand, I started thinking
Just how much fun I have been having playing on the server, So with that in mind THANK YOU and Matrox for setting it up!! I know I have said something before but I just wonted to say it again.
I would like to also like to thank all the players! I sometimes just enjoy standing back and watching all of you play and I will say this we have the best players around bar none!!!!!!!!

ALBPM, what can I say, I have known Paul now for more years than I can remember, so thanks for turning me on to the UT server and the this forum.

And to all the people on this forum!

    So just thanks!!!
    Oboy

Sniff, Sniffle...Aw cut it out Mark...LOL

I finally managed to pull OBOY away from ATI graphics cards after all those years...Heheh

I do have to agree with OBOY that we have some of the BEST UT players out there on our server. Even though I'm usually just FRAG BAIT trying to keep up with my Trackman Marble FX. I found that the level of play on other Servers isn't as tough as on the Matrox Server.

heh, i just wanna thank everyone's patience when i do get on to play UT in the murc server. i know.. i am like a frag bait in there and i know my moves aren't much :P and i have to say.. it's alot more challenging playing here than other servers i play at. i usually do alot better in other servers and i was totally surprised on how 'well' i did here *giggle*

oh, forgot who i was playing with last night. i blurp out that one 'person' i was playing against was in god mode. another person said he wasn't and left. afterward, i REALIZE that the 'person' i was shooting at was a BOT helper (damn, i didn't even noticed it was on my team *blush*). i didn't know you get bot helpers in UT. anyway.. i apologize to whoever was playing there. it was a miscommunication heh.

      see you all there soon

Don't feel bad glarec, it took me two weeks to realize that those two guys who's names start with A's (Frick n Frack) were BOTS...LOL

Heck!! I was even trying to talk to them while playing. And I wondered how they managed to find me no matter where I would hide to ambush them...LOL

*giggle* oh hey oboy.. well.. you were tough for me last night anyway :P then this *bot* came out and keep following me and tells me "i got your back!".. i was going hmm.. then after you left.. another bot came out and just keep running around collecting things.. i kept trying to talk to them and no answer.. i even went as far as saying "damn you guys are quiet" :P it finally clicked and i press [F1] and saw their stat as helper(or something like that), then i went DOH!!!!! and i was wondering how the hell can this other bot move so fast and fluent!

anyway, i left after that since nobody else was on to play :P

btw, how can you become invisible? this one bot just run and disappeared(well.. still can see him.. kinda) right in front of me... just curious heh..

going to see if i can get on tonight again.. see you guys later

You said it Oboy. Its always a blast on the MGI server. I play on alot of different servers but I always come back to MGI because of the people playing there.

glarec: There usually is an invisibility item that you can pick up in every map, although there usually hidden behind secret walls. It will make you very hard to see just like the bot you mentioned. So if you are running around the map and someone's name pops up on the screen and you can't see them, start shooting because they are invisible. If you want to know where the secret items are just ask away, though just don't ask the bots; they won't answer you.

See you all on the MGI server.

I think I will chime in as well! I too enjoy playing the people on the Matrox server (Wednesday night was pretty fun action). I've also noticed that when going to other servers, I score pretty well -- unless I run into one of you guys there
I haven't been able to play much lately, but it's Friday, so maybe I'll get there tonight.

thx glarec...i've been playing for awhile now, the game takes practice

Thats a good idea, watching as spectator. I'm a fairly decent player but I get my but whipped on some servers. Logging on as a spectator and watching them play can give you pointers.

On another server last night I played Gitago, one on one. Wow. If you don't know who he is, he is rated # 1 in the world right now. What a rush. I did pretty good against him, but he really kicked my but. lol!

See you all on the MGI server. btw: Does anyone else hate the exploding relic as much as I do?
