I'm all over the CTF idea. Me and my best friend play CTF all the time on our college network. It's not much of a challenge though. No one else has UT so we team up against a horde of bots and laugh gleefully as we splatter them all over the place.

Anyway, I'd love to play some CTF for a weekend or something. If it weren't for the damn firewall in the way on our network I'd host a CTF server to play on. Unfortunately my college is really small and full of paranoid technophobes and as such there is only one port open on the firewall and it's configured so damn strangely that it just wouldn't work. Oh well.

Actually, the MGI server has been configured for Capture The Flag one time several months ago. It lasted for about 1 day, if I remember right. There was a small crowd that evening.

Has anybody seen this UT bug: sometimes when you run out of ammo with one weapon, it "locks" that weapon as being wielded so that you cannot change weapons. Sometimes it puts the arm down, and never comes back up with another weapon. Sometimes the original weapon remains wielded so that you can go out and find more ammo and continue to use that weapon.

I guess you don't have that problem with the hammers, though. I'm still not use to those hammer matches. Geeze, man, some of y'all are DEADLY with that hammer! Lots o fun, though.

I just enjoy watching Dr.Carnage and Millenium Man play. The one thing I just hate is when they start using the telaporter. When I start hearing that sound and the next thing is see is "Oboy was telafraged by Dr.Carnage". LOL

            Blades,
Well what can I say? The g200 I got from Paul is toast! It will not run the new drivers,
But works good for 2d and the 4. something drivers. Just tell your friend to get a g400, he will be better off.
Also look for a program call thums plus (something like that) it is a very good graphics program has lots of Features and is shareware.

            Oboy

But it felt GREAT to do that good for a change. I had a few really good one on ones with Dr. Carnage in that game YEE HAWWWWWW!!!

Those hammer matches are indeed fun -- for a map or two... but when ping goes to 400 or more, it's just a matter of luck getting a frag -- unless you're sneaky enough to lure someone to chase you around a corner like Paul (Darth) Actually I got Milleniumman that way a couple times too.
I much prefer the likes of a shock rifle combo into a crowded room. (Thanks for the compliment Oboy).

I used to play CTF quite a bit, but haven't lately -- too much fun on the MGI Server. I get a great rush when I have the flag and there's 3 or 4 people chasing me... then I get to the base and my team's flag is gone!

At least in CTF, the good DR. wouldn't be able to have the flag and telefrag at the same time

Thundrchez: At least once a match my weapon disappears totally, leaving me to run around without any weapons. This also happens to Millenniumman as often. The only way I have found to solve the problem is to be killed.

Yeah, it's happened to me too -- just lately. Milleniumman asked me to kill him a couple of times just the other night.
Of course, I was more than happy to help out
