Rollcage 2 dumps back to desktop after Intro

On http://www.ntcompatible.com I read that Rollcage Stage 2 isn't compatible with Win2k. When I run it in Win2k I get the same problem as you did: it crashes back to the desktop. When I run it in Win9x I have no problem. And BumpMapping rules bigtime ;-))

ntcompatible also says that it WILL work in win2k with 3dfx hardware...

Nah, I'm not giving up my G400 yet ;-)

I wonder what the new patch installs, is it just a rollcage2.exe file? If yes maybe someone can send over the file rollcage2@paraknowya.de so that I can upload it to my site for those who have problems installing the patch. Good idea anyone?! =)
