I found something curious :
I use the last drivers from matrox (the 5.55) and I have tried the last ICD instead of th TGL 1.3.
This ICD is good, it gave me 82.5fps instead of 80fps for the tgl in Quake III (with some visual tweaks diabled). But the strange thing is that if I use the 5.50.005 beta ICD (I put the g400icd.dll of this version in the quake3\baseq3 directory) I have 89fps. I have tested it 2 days long and I haven't seen any important bug.
Is this tweak works only on my system, or is it the same for everyone ?
Maybe this thing is known from the G400 community, but I haven't seen it anywhere and I think it could be interesting for some Quake III players.
Something else : I don't use the shadows and I don't know how to disable the 8 stencilbits for gain a little more speed and memory with the ICD. If someone knows, answer me (r_stencilbits 0 doesn't work as you can see in the "setup" -> "system" -> "driver info" section of the game).
