TFC Problems

i have problems running tfc(mod for HL)
when i start up it asks me what team and what class i want to be... as soon as i select my class, the hd drive goes crazy for about a sec... then hl exits to windows.

i thought it was a corrupted installation... so i uninstalled HL, reinstalled with the new patch, but still got same problem

Can someone please help me out...

NOTE: THIS IS NOT RELATED TO THE NEW HL RELEASED... THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR A WHILE

There seem to be a lot of problems with this patch, people not connecting, being trown out of game, etc..
Somebody on VE has suggested to download the full patch and reinstall HL with it....

ok... first of i said it did have nothing to do with the patch, this has been a problem for a long time, i also said that i reinstalled and with the patch.

btw, i fixed it... it was a video problem, all i had to do was run the game in d3d mode, then back to ogl mode... dont ask how or why that worked...but it did..
