Doesn't look that good. I think developers should use Bumpmapping for water and shiny surfaces like metal and that's about it.

Don't forget how vast the difference is when seeing it in action !!!

You cannot judge it from stills only ...

I think the roof in pic#1 gives a good idea how many details you can create with EMBM without having to raise the amount of polys.

What I meant really was with the performance hit I didn't want devlopers to go, ooh new toy, looks cool, and use it everywhere, if you look at the Shine (I think that's it's name) engine test they had the walls and everything for no reason, however the water and the lava all looked very cool.
