Game Server Update

WHEW!!!!!! Just got the infiltration_275.zip
file and the infiltration_275z.zip (manual) file for Oboy to put on the [MU]clan website.

He won't be able to upload the files till after work so, it may be later tonight that they become available. we can't upload from here at work the damn firewall at the Labs won't let us do those things. Also we had to do an FTP search in Lycos to find these 2 mod files because we also can't view any thing using JAVA script through our firewall which the link to planetunreal must use for their download page.....what a Pain in the A**...LOL

After downloading everything available from the two pages, I still need the Marine, Alita, and Hunter skins to complete my update. Guess I'll get them once Oboy's been able to post those.

Weird stuff now. Loaded the skins and the mods (cept the ones I still haven't found). I chose the Spawn skin (showed it fine in my non-connected game). But when I connect to the server, it acts as if the server doesn't have that skin? (green skin effect)

Is there something else I'm missing?

Now to hop on the server and see if dying with new skins is any different than with the old ones!

Are you guys able to connect to the MGI server? I get the connect message and then nothing. I downloaded everything that I couldn't get from the MU site.

Also, when I went into player preferences, I'm not able to select any of the new skins.

What am I doing wrong?!?!

O.K. I have all the files on the <a href="clan-mu.matroxusers.com">clan-mu</a> site. Install the MOTDEnabler first, then the other MOTD files. These are the skins I thought I didnt have.hehe So you should have all the skins after you install the umod files!! I also have the Infilration 275 file there also.

And this same site is now down... What did you do to the mu-clan site, Oboy?? Overloaded it?

Btw, I now d/led about all maps, I hope, but a couple of them are in umod format. How can I get them out of there? If that's needed.

It is best to unzipp or place all .umod files in C:\Temp.

Then go to START\RUN and type in:

C:\UnrealTournament\System\Setup.exe install C:\temp\MOTDEnabler.umod

The install program should start and then you will need to tell it to install to:

C:\UnrealTournament

I got everything installed except the:

Fem_Fatal1~exe skin.

What do you do with the ~exe file?????

Re-download it Pauly, as it should be a normal .EXE !! At least I have a .EXE

Thanks but no thanks for installing the Infiltration thing, Haig.

With it I can't get into UT at all. I have v4.05b, and patches 4.13 and 4.20 don't work here. The infiltration thing needs at least 4.13 to work.

If I install 4.13 my UT won't start up, saying that some .dll isn't where it is supposed to be and crashing out.

If I install 4.20 my UT won't start either, asking for a .sys file that I can't find anywhere on my hdd.

So I d/led over 100 Mb of stuff these past 3 days for nothing? Please remove the Infiltration part. For the skins and maps work allright !!

Or at least tell me how I can disable the auto-download from the MGI server !! Even with the working (!!!!) Infiltration 4.71 it was adament to downloading 4.75
