Could the No Name servers affect anything?

You need the full version of UT. I believe with the Demo, you can only log onto servers that are running the Demo.

I'm not familiar with the PingPlotter tool your are using, but in general, UT is quite playable with anything below 300 ms.

I have a 56K modem and crappy old phone lines in my neighborhood (never connect at better than 28k), and I have no problems finding plenty of servers between 180 ms and 300 ms. The MGI server is actually one of my better connections.

Glad to hear it Beezer. I hadn't gotten around to UT since I'm still trying to get decent at Q3A and its always been a struggle on my v.90 modem. Especially happy hearing about your MGI experience. Judging by your profile, you're a neighbor so I hope to have at least a good connection (connect at v.90 49333, v.34+ 31200). Gotta finally pick up that game.
