Quake 3 open gl set up

Just a quick question.
Do i need to run the open gl set up for Q3.
I have a g400 max with the latest drivers.
I was not sure if it might mess with the matrox drivers.

I never ran it and Q3A works fine for me. I think that the GLSetup program just installs the latest g400icd.dll anyway. Maybe someone can clarify?
