i get very slow fps when going near a texture (when it turns to the most detailed mip-map, i think). i had this in ut, too. but not with the new d3ddrv.dll

Epic had to have made a mistake when packaging the release, since the 226 is supposed to include the D3D code (and probably DLLs) from the 420 UT release. But there's no way that's true, since the 420 release of UT seems to be the fastest of UT yet, on either my Max or the GTS.
