G400 & Windows Me

Is anyone else having problems with windows millenium edition.
I have installed the latest powerdesk 6.xx beta and everytime i shut my system down it just locks up (the continual scandisks are beginning to annoy me!).
Also opengl games no longer seem to work unless i use turbogl 1.3 which is great for Q3A and Half-Life but i was looking forward to playing Star Trek Elite Forces which crases unless i disable GL extensions.
My system is:
K6 III 450
TMC TIVG+ motherboard
196 mb ram
Matrox G400
Soundblaster Live
IBM 20.5gb hard disk

Any suggestions on this or information on when matrox are going to release an offical Windows Me driver would be great

Thanks Sisyfos. Installing the via agp driver manually fixed shutdown problems and also sorted out my home network(which was on the blink) still can't play opengl games without turbogl but guess i'll have to wait for better drivers to come.
