I did it ...
http://www.eye3d.de/index.htm http://www.iart3d.com/iart/iarte/pro.../eye3dmain.htm
and I see in 3D now ....
All I can say is that it really kicks ass !!!
I admit that there are still titles that do not run with the current drivers (version 3.5 is most recent) and mainly the lack of Q2 & Q3 support on my G400 bugs me
Also I had to switch back to PD5.50 to get the WickedGL wrapper working with my G400.
I'm very very impressed by the three dimensional effect when running UT in D3D.
NFS Porsche is even more addictive and
F1 WGP (that EMBM heatshimmer / dualhead F1 racer) is more than creamy, but unfortunately does the EMBMed effect goof up the Wicked wrapper, so that I had to turn it off.
I'm looking forward for updated drivers so that I could benefit from our latest ICD, and I didn't try the TurboGL yet.
Compared to other shutterglasses, this one is supposed to support D3D and OpenGL, which was the point to make my decision. Also a good high frequncy monitor comes in handy, because I had to set mine back to 60Hz modes to get the minimum recommended stereo refresh rate of 120Hz in 800x600.
Anyway, if you have a few bucks in spare, go out and grab that one (mine is the 4in1 wireless version) ... it really kicks !!!
Cheers,
Maggi
PS: Now back into my monitor ...
