I have already read a lot of articles in this forum about texture flicker within Soldier of Fortune but haven't found a solution for this problem until now.
I have a Matrox G400, AMD Athlon 750, WIN98 SE, DirectX 7a, I have installed the latest drivers for my Matrox (beta 6.x). The dualhead option is disabled. I have also tried version 5.22, 5.52, and 5.55 of the drivers. I have tried to enable and disable 32bit Z-buffering. My AGP aperture is set on 256MB.
I have the same problem when I'm playing Soldier of fortune under WIN NT4.0.
Other 3D-games have the same problem: Re-volt, Half-life (without OpenGL). The TurboGL is a solution for HL but there is no such driver for SOF.
