Hi guys, ever wanted to use zoom when playing strategy games on a 2nd display, after fiddling about and a helping hand from matrox (the manual is crap) here is the plan:
1: couple up 2nd monitor and enable zoom in display properties page.
2: sort out which hot keys you want.
3: fire up your game.
4: use the hotkey you defined to enable zoom.
5: place your cursor at the point you want to zoom into.
6: l/click and drag out the window size required, the smaller the dragged window, the higher the zoom (full window gives x1 window on 2nd monitor, so half size gives x2, 1/4 size gives x4, any size you want.
7: if you to resize the zoom, just repeat from 4:
This facility should work pretty much i imagine with any game or application that uses a cursor such as graphic work.
