Amish - I would if I could. I don't have a website to post them to. In reality, it is difficult for me to compare the two cards as far as the 3-D appearance goes. Both look excellent in UT, which I play the most. It is the 2D appearance which is noticably different. The characters and icons are very familiar to me and I have only been able to judge the appearance and clarity of these.

The difference in clarity, which is so apparent in the displayed text, may not show well in screenshots of a complex 3D scene. The difference, if any, of the colors in such a scene may well be a difference in settings, easily compensated for with gamma, contrast, or brightness.

One big difference between the cards, other than the 2D clarity, is the GTS's FSAA in 640 x 480 games. I play Jane's F-15 and there is a significant improvement using FSAA. Unfortunately, neither card plays this game well. It is best done with glide (and only in Win98).

Anyway, if you have a way of posting my screenshots, I'll be happy to change video cards long enough to oblige.

Is the difference when benching 16bpp vs. 32bpp really that big ?

      When I run 3DMark2k at 1024x768x16bpp I get +3300 3D Marks ... I better check my 32bpp score.

      For those who don't know yet, I run a Cel-566@952MHz ...

      Cheers,
