Thanks to Oboy for the idea (there now, credit's given, hehe). It involves the use of a nifty feature that UT provides that not many of us have paid any attention to- the built-in IRC chat client. (So there's no need for a separate program! )
I propose that when any of the MU players gets online to play UT:
1. Go into the Chat tab in UT(it's a tab in the UT server browser, usually on the lower left)
2. Log into the #[MU] chat room.
To do this:
a. Make sure the IRC server reads irc.gameslink.net, if not change it back (it's the default in UT's IRC client though)
b. Enter #[MU] for the default channel
c. Click the connect button.
Now, whenever any other MURCers are playing UT online, it'll be easy for the rest of us to locate them quickly, as well as to join servers with them.
Another neat trick, available from the UT chat client- if one of the people in the same chat room is currently playing, you can get a clickable link that will take you straight into the server (as in joining the game).
How?
Easy:
1. Double-click the name of the user you're looking for from the user list on the right side of the chat screen. This will open a private chat with the individual (you'll see a new tab next to the Chat and #[MU] tabs at the top that has their name on it).
2. Click on the tab with their name on it.
3. Type anything you wish in that chat window ("Hi" works fine, but anything'll do).
4. UT will tell you where the individual is. If they're playing a game, it shows a clickable link for that game. If they're not, but their UT isn't currently the active program (ie.- they're doing ICQ chat with UT minimized or something), it'll say something to the effect that they're in the menus. If it says nothing, they're currently in the room with you, and will probably reply.
5. If you got the clickable link (because they're playing somewhere), click the link. UT will connect to that server and you can start fragging!
If you're feeling anti-social, but just want to play, feel free to ignore the chat window. Otherwise, it's a cool way to see if anyone else is online and playing (or just chatting in the #[MU] IRC room), and to join them in the game, without them having to send you the server info for where they're at.

Almost forgot- don't get discouraged and log off of the chat if you find you're the only one there. If someone else comes in while you're playing, they'll see your name, and can follow you into the server you're playing on, too! If nobody else comes, nothing lost, right?
