  • Quake3 refuses on Marvell G400

    I am a real Quake3 addic and this is really annoying me! Ok, here's the deal. I wanted to capture some stuff with the Matrox PC-VCR. But after a while (7 minutes or so) it stops capturing but the timer still goes on (the frame count stops but the time count doesn't). This happend too often so i downloaded the latest bios updates, drivers and Videotools, but it still has the same bug. Even worse, my Quake3 now refuses to play. I tried reinstalling it, GLsetup, TurboGL and nothing worked. It just shows the intro movie and then it hangs (dualhead is disabled though). My system is;
    AMDK7 700; Matrox Marvell G400; 511Mb ram; 30Gb HDD; Windows 98

    Did you try recording quake demo and recording it with PC-VCR later?

      That's just the problem. I can't even get Quake3 to start annymore. I think it's because of these new drivers...

        Depends on how did you reinstall drivers...

          I uninstalled everything first. Uninstalled the videotools with add/remove software. Then the drivers by removing it from the hardware list. Then applied the bios update, installed new drivers and installed new videotools. What should i do?
