DVD & G400 MAX

I just bought a Creative Labs 12x DVD drive.
Im using the matrox software dvd player. Why can't I play a dvd movie on my second monitor? Is this something that can be done?

You can't create an overlay on the second display unless it's a TV. At least this is my recollection.
