anybody get this to run, i could only get it to run in software. in hardware my whole comp would freeze when i got to the rider select, and i'd have to restart my hole machine.
so i updated my driver to beta 6.2 (i think it was) and fried my G400, but according to my tech, i have to flash the video card bios, if not i hope matrox's warrenty will cover this.

so anyone get MM2 to run?? if so how?

forgive my ignorance but how could updating your drivers cause your G400 to be fried? is there something I'm missing here???

ok here's what happened, i started the game, got to the player selection screen, my comp froze, i hit the restart, booted windows, used the powerdesk to remove all matrox drivers, restarted, installed beta 6.2, restarted, once back in windows, i booted MM2 and it forze on the intro screen, i hit restart, THEN as it was booting i got NO display followed by one long beep and 3 short ones from my motherboard, matrox g400 fried!

like siad according to my tech, he figures i just need to flash the bios, so i'll try it when i get home tonight after work, god i hope it works!

MM2 works just fine on my G400/700mhz Athlon system.

I've used both the 5.52 and 6.01beta drivers. You must be mistaken about the driver revision (I hope). I've never heard of anything newer than the 6.04 Certified drivers that were just released.

opps, i was using 6.01, but ohh well my card is ****ed, so i'm buying a Geforce2, but it would still be nice if the warrenty covers my card
