Hitman - Codename 47 Demo crashes with my G400

Does anyone have problems with this new game demo? You can get it from http://www.avault.com/pcrl/demo_temp.asp?game=hitman

When I load the game up, I get blinking white border. In the Readme file, this is a known problem Matrox G200 cards. I have a G400 :P. One time, the game kicked me to desktop without notice.

Every time I quit the game, I get:

This error is stuck. I can never close this box since it is in a loop. I have to hit the reset button to reboot Windows.

I am also using the lastest non-beta drivers.

I tested and it ran fine @ 8x6 32 color depth., of course that was on a G450. I'll try later with me Max tommorrow.

The demo only does OGL. The readme constantly mentions a CD and or D3D when it's only available off the net, Go figure.

Yeahg, I was using OopenGL. Hehe, the game is pretty cool even in a buggy stage.

Where did you get your copy. I got mine from 3Dfiles and I can use the D3D. In fact it's much better and faster too.

Pretty smooth in 1024x768 in 32 bits

Yeah the demo ran fine for me in D3D 1024x768x32 on my G400. I too downloaded the demo from 3DFiles.

On a side note, Edios is dis-owning the demo as it is not the official "polished" demo that is to be released.

My demo had all three video options.

Maybe that why they aren't supporting it. All the other options there are greyed out on my install.

I have downloaded this DEMO. Works quite normally on 1024 in 32bit.
But is possible only OpenGL.
