Pchoi - after rereading some of these posts, it is a little unclear whether you are having problems with the Demo or the Full game.
I am assuming it's the full game that you can't get to run. If so, you might want to try loading the demo. If that works, it might just be that you have a bad copy of the game. You can get the demo by downloading it (about 50MB) or getting this month's PC Gamer magazine (included in the demo disc).
This game uses the QA3 engine, so if your system's components and drivers can run that game, you should be able to run this one (or at least get further than you are now).My rig: P4 3.0GHz; Asus P4C800E; 1GB DDR 3200; AIW Radeon 9800 Pro; WD 120GB SATA; Plextor DVD burner; Liteon DVD reader; Audigy 2ZS; Logitech Z560 4.1; NEC FE991SB
Kid's rig: AMD XP 1600+; 512MB ram; GF4 Ti4600; Maxtor 60GB; Plextor CD burner; Sony DVD reader; SB Live; Cambridge 4.1 speakers; NEC FE991SB
Other kid's rig: Athlon 2700+; ASUS A7N8X mobo; 512MB PC3200 ram; GF4 Ti4600; Maxtor 80GB; SB Live; Cambridge 2.1; NEC FE991SB; Liteon DVD-ROM

Hey superfly, Do you know any of the addresses because the search function doesn't seem to be able to find any of them. And I'm talking about ones for the full version not the demo. Just got it yesterday.

Been awhile since I looked at this thread but it looks like I left it open...
I am running the full verison of the game, and despite the fact that the demo maybe able to run, the full version will not. This has been brought up again and again in the Raven forums. Demo runs, full version does not. My system was not able to handle any OGL games, including Half Life and Q3a. Someone suggested to me that it could have been bus mastering that I turned off to maintain system stability, but unfortunately re-enabling wasn't an option as I can't boot into Windows with that enabled. I was also forcing AGP 1x but again I couldn't go to 2X because of stability.
I tried EF on my sister's computer with a G200 and it ran! Much to my suprise I tried to imitate her computer configuration but I got nowhere.
In the end I bought a GF2 MX and now I can play (kick ass game!). BTW don't flame me on this because I already got flamed
If someone comes up with a fix for G400 instability, crashes and OGL sub-system errors I'd love to hear them, and so would many people on the Raven tech support board. They are desperate over there.

Personally, I think your prob is the bus mastering not running. That kinda points to some sever instability probs if ya cant do that and/or agp 2x. Remember Matrox stuff sticks very close to the bus specs. What MB do you have? if it's a low end you'll have probs.
By any chance do you have another OS to install and test on?
Personally I had probs with dualhead on. once I turned it off and updated the drivers, it's OK. Unfortunatly I am getting corrupted textures about 45 minutes into a game, so who knows what thats all about.A computer is like sex. Your never 100% sure what your doing but when all goes well, it feels REAL good.
