Flight Unlimited III, anyone get it working?

Finally got around to trying to play this game after a few others. Installation found no problems, and I was (actually this was a month ago) able to get into the training video for the airplanes. However, last night, picking any mode of flight, be it normal or 'Quick Flight' gives me a black screen of death, with the only solution being reboot. Was really hoping to get this thing working, as the scenery looks awesome and I've read some great reviews. Plus I'm not too keen on getting another piece of MS software. I have Flight Sim '98, but that's old news and it gave me too many problems on my old system anyhow..

Thanks for anyone who might know how to get this thing working!
