Hi guys .. just installed Half life TFC and the latest patch (1.1.0.1)
I'm using win98 SE and G200 8 SD with PD 6.14
1st: the end or home keys doesn't centre my position ! anyone know a solution for this ?
2nd: i used to use some special autoexec.cfg file in quake 2 to get higher gamma and brightness
(set intensity "2.0"
set vid_gamma "2.5"
set gl_modulate "2.5"
set gl_saturate "0" )
.. are there similar settings for half life ?
3rd: how can i measure my FPS in half life ? they mention a gauge command but they don't mention what are the demo maps names.
4th: my desktop is set at 1024x768x32, and i noticed the game run in 16 bit colors . is there a 32 bit mode ?
I play at 1024x768x16@85Hz, i use MGATweek to overclock to 220-225, and MTSTU to set the OGL settings for speed.
The game performance isn't bad, but not really smooth and i don't really wanna play at 800x600.
Are there any recommended tweeks or settings?
my system is a celeron 300A@450 and 192 PC-100 ram on a gigabyte 6BXE mobo.
